This is a mouse's spinal cord, with the cell types composing the blood-spinal cord barrier (BSCB) fluorescently labeled. The larger goal of our research is to establish a broadly applicable adeno-associated virus (AAV)-screening platform capable of efficiently identifying capsids that target human-specific receptors.
