Nanoparticles Target Glioblastoma

This multiphoton image depicts red fluorescent labelled nanoparticles carrying antitumor drugs that have crossed the blood-brain barrier and are targeting a green fluorescent labelled human glioblastoma brain tumor that was implanted and grew in the brain of a mouse. We are now conducting in vivo trials using these particles to deliver combination therapies to mice containing brain tumors in hopes of finding novel and more effective therapies of treating glioblastoma.
