"We took this image to examine the successful delivery of our particle vaccine system into antigen-presenting cells. Delivery of particle vaccine into antigen-presenting cells is the first step for stimulating an immune response. Antigen-presenting cells process and present the vaccine to other cells in the immune system so they can recognize the vaccine and fight against the target pathogen."
