These are pig fallopian tube organoids, which are like miniature versions of fallopian tube tissues. They have a distinctive appearance because they carry specific p53 mutations. These mutations make the organoids behave similarly to serous tubal intraepithelial carcinoma (STIC), which is an early-stage condition that can develop into high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC).
