BRaF Mutation in a Lung Tumor 1
BRaF Mutation in a Lung Tumor 1
Submitted by Ed van Veen of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center
The lung tumor in this image is driven by expression of the cancer causing mutated protein, BRafV600E. BRaf mutations cause human lung cancers, melanoma, and many other tumor types. We are interested in how cancers grow, spread, and how they react when we give the mice the same drugs that we give to human lung cancer patients.
