"Ribonucleotide reductase (RNR) is the enzyme responsible for making all deoxyribonucleotides in the cell for both DNA synthesis and repair. These enzymes are thus a target for anti-cancer therapies because without RNR activity, cells cannot divide. This image shows the structure of RNR with an affector bound.
