Inspired by E.T. and The Creation of Adam, this composite image merges two 3D endothelial sprouts, each extending from its own parent endothelial vessel, to create a symbolic moment of connection.  By composting these images, we visually represent the role of mechanical force as a medium of vascular growth to guide the formation and alignment of new vessels during angiogenesis.
