My thesis project attempts to elucidate how perturbed replication forks induce epigenetic reprogramming in leukemia. In leukemia, replication stress can lead to broad epigenetic changes and alterations in cell state. I hope to contribute to a better understanding of how this phenomenon occurs, which could eventually lead to the discovery of new therapeutic targets for blood cancers.
