The image depicted here is of therapeutic CAR-T cells (in green) attacking and in the process of killing adherent glioblastoma cancer cells. Stained in cyan is the actin cytoskeleton and in red is the microtubule cytoskeleton that facilitates killing of target cancer cells. The striking aspect of this image is the extent of cellular spreading and microtubule positioning of the CAR-T cell directly interacting with the target cancer cell.
