"My project is aimed at investigating the process of cancer metastasis. This image shows a difficult-to-capture view of metastatic breast cancer cells growing inside the blood vessels of lung tissue, bursting the blood vessel and 'spilling' into lung parenchyma tissue eventually leading to fatal macro-metastasis. The place of “spill” is shown by black arrow."
