This image is a multiphoton microscopy of a mouse brain slice, combining third harmonic generation (THG) and two-photon imaging of GFP-labeled neurons. The most important part of this technique is that it has deep-tissue imaging capability. Our goal is to develop non-destructive, high-resolution imaging approaches capable of deep-tissue imaging in live brain tissue.
