Nanoparticles (in red) can be designed to effectively and specifically deliver drugs to the endothelial cells that line your blood vessels (in blue). This image, of blood vessels in a mouse, was taken in order to learn whether our endothelial-targeting nanoparticles delivered drugs to these cells in vivo. The nanoparticles pictured are in consideration for clinical trials in lung cancer and heart disease.
